Spark, the KQED documentary series profiling Northern California artists, devoted an episode to my Mission studio practice in 2004. The episode By Hand follows the cut paper process — the vertical Lenox 100 drawing paper on the studio wall, the standard utility knife, the spontaneous knife-drawing technique that had just become the center of my practice.
