Nerve Brane Space is a nine-part series of small framed works. The set started as marginalia from a larger installation period — fragments of cuttings that asked to be kept rather than discarded, sized down and framed individually. Watercolor and tape laid over the cut paper give each piece a quiet density. The work reads close — you have to lean in.
