720 x 120 x 1 inches | laminated acrylic composite | 2019 | Permanent Site-Specific Commission | Hogan Lovells, 390 Madison Avenue | New York
Chelsea Meadow Swirl is a sixty-foot horizontal wall work installed permanently in the Hogan Lovells offices at 390 Madison Avenue. Built from laminated acrylic composite, it reads as a long meadow drawn across a single corridor — flowering forms, tall grasses, drifting silhouettes that the eye carries along as you walk past. I cut it from the same vocabulary as my hand-cut paper installations, translated here into a durable, layered acrylic that recollects frosted glass.
