Silver Sun Supernova is a site-specific installation of hand-cut paper, acrylic paint, glitter, video projection, and audio. The work reshapes Cooper Design Space’s classic lobby into a fantastical, otherworldly environment. I wanted to catch the public’s sense of wonder — to drop an unexpected, transformative space into a building people move through every day.

Cutting is the hallmark of my practice. I work freeform, exclusively with a knife — drawings that become framed works and forms that get built into three-dimensional installations like this one. My studio is at Bendix Artist Studios in downtown Los Angeles.
