I was asked to design an installation piece for an elevated space within a Santa Monica home-cum-art gallery. Glitterati Swamp Thing is the first in a series of installations influenced by the Los Angeles River — this one a delicate tangle of river vegetation, a small inlet softly glowing overhead.
