Landing Nowhere Else

Landing Nowhere Else comprised the second half of my solo exhibition with Bank. I wanted to build a secret world within their enclosed back gallery. Dimly lit, lush, and slightly disorienting this immersive installation contrasted with the stark openness of the adjacent gallery space. Icy-blue lighting cast a ghostly, snowbound atmosphere upon the white on white hanging cutouts descending down like piles of crazy vines from a highway overpass. Delicate creepers and cerulean sparkle-drips punctuated the space. Wayward tendrils brushed the ground, spinning-off onto the floor into tight, hexagonal spirals.
